Authorities in Gardner, Massachusetts, have launched a manhunt for a man suspected in the murder of his wife. Aaron Pennington, 33, is considered armed and dangerous, and police are urging residents to remain vigilant. The victim, Breanne Pennington, 30, was found dead in their home on Cherry Street on Sunday morning. The couple's four children, aged 2, 5, 7, and 9, went to a neighbor's house for help after they couldn't find their father and discovered their mother crying in her bedroom.
The search for Aaron Pennington has involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including police helicopters and K-9 units. Authorities have issued a shelter-in-place order for residents in the Kelton, Wheeler, Raymond, and Stone streets area, where the search is focused.
According to court documents, the couple had longstanding marital issues, and Breanne Pennington had planned to move to Texas with their children. The suspect is believed to be driving a white 2013 BMW 320 with a Massachusetts veteran plate. Police are advising the public not to approach him if seen and instead to call 911 immediately.
