Car Found in Connection to Gardner Homicide; Police Order Shelter in Place for Area Residents

Law enforcement authorities in Massachusetts are searching for Aaron Pennington, who is wanted for questioning in the homicide of his wife, Breanne Pennington, in Gardner. Massachusetts State Police have located Pennington's car, a white 2013 BMW 320, near the Ashburnham line in Gardner. The car was found abandoned in a muddy area of Camp Collier, a Boy Scout camp. However, Pennington was not with the vehicle. Police have issued a shelter-in-place order for residents in the area, specifically on Kelton, Wheeler, Raymond, and Stone Streets, while they conduct a search and investigation for the suspect.

Breanne Pennington was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the face in the couple's home on Cherry Street. The couple's four young children, who were found inside the home, are now in the custody of the Department of Children and Families. Police are urging anyone with information about Aaron Pennington's whereabouts to contact them immediately. Pennington is considered armed and dangerous.

The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
