Will the Georgia 2020 election RICO case be live-streamed on YouTube?

The proceedings of the Georgia 2020 election RICO case involving former President Donald Trump and 18 other co-defendants will be live-streamed on YouTube, according to a decision made by Judge Scott McAfee. News stations, including 11Alive, will be allowed to record inside the court room and stream the proceedings. This is not the first time Judge McAfee has live-streamed court proceedings; he and other judges in the Superior Court have previously put their in-court Zoom conferences on YouTube. The live-streaming of the RICO case will provide public access to the court proceedings and allow people to watch the trial online. The trial is scheduled to begin in late October, and Kenneth Chesebro, one of the defendants in the case, has already pleaded not guilty and waived his right to an arraignment hearing. He is facing seven criminal charges, including a violation of Georgia's RICO act and conspiracy to commit forgery. The case is set to be tried together with all 19 defendants, but some have requested separate trials or to move the case into federal court.
