However, his confrontational style and insults towards his fellow opponents may not have resonated well with moderate conservatives looking to move past Trumpism. While some may find his behavior obnoxious, there is no denying that Ramaswamy's performance seemed tailored to his MAGA audience. He adopted many of the tactics used by Donald Trump during his 2016 campaign, including baseless accusations and gaslighting. Despite the exasperation of his opponents, Ramaswamy's approach may prove successful in capturing the support of the Trump-leaning Republican electorate. Only time will tell if Ramaswamy's performance will secure him a real chance at the nomination or if it was merely a bid for fame and attention in the new American right.
