The St. Louis Cardinals didn't include Paul Goldschmidt in their starting lineup for Monday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. While the reason for his absence wasn't explicitly stated, Tyler O'Neill was named in his place in left field. The rest may have been part of a larger plan to rotate players since the Cardinals are off to a fantastic start this season. Even without Goldschmidt during the game, the Cardinals managed a victory on Monday night against the Diamondbacks with a score of 3-1. Goldschmidt had an impressive start to the season and was hitting .322 with 10 runs, 8 RBIs, and a .910 OPS through 73 plate appearances in the first few weeks of the season. The Cardinals are expected to provide more details on Goldschmidt's absence in the coming days.

The World Marathon Majors will kick off in the U.S. on Monday as over 30,000 runners from across the globe compete in the 127th Boston Marathon. All eyes will be on Eliud Kipchoge, one of the greatest marathon runners of all time, as he attempts to win all six World Marathon Majors and break the men's course record of 2:03:02 set by Geoffrey Mutai in 2011. Kipchoge is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and marathon world record holder. However, to secure a victory and a record-breaking time, he'll have to outpace some formidable competitors, including Kenya's Evans Chebet and Benson Kipruto, who has already won the Boston Marathon in 2021. The women's race will also feature several stars, including reigning world champion Gotytom Gebreslase and rising star Amane Beriso. This year's enthusiasts will also have to brave the elements, as Meteorologists predict winds of 10 to 20 mph and a 78 percent chance of rain.

The Boston Marathon is the oldest annual marathon in the world, and the challenging 26.2-mile course runs from Hopkinton to Copley Square in Boston. The race will begin at 9:02 a.m. ET with the men's wheelchair field, followed by the women's wheelchair division at 9:05 a.m. ET. The professional men will start at 9:37 a.m. ET, and the women's race will begin at 9:47 a.m. ET. The race will be broadcast locally on WCVB Channel 5 and is scheduled to be televised nationally on ESPN, beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Shares of India's second-largest IT services firm, Infosys Ltd, fell by nearly 15% after the company's disappointing revenue outlook raised concerns about demand for Indian IT services amid global recession fears. Infosys' outlook followed a disappointing quarterly report from larger rival Tata Consultancy Services, raising worries for the sector that earns more than 25% of its revenue from the US and European banking, financial services, and insurance sectors. Infosys expects revenue growth of 4-7% on a constant currency basis for fiscal year ending March 2024, well below analysts' expectations of 10.7% growth, due to clients cancelling some projects and deferred spending on recession fears. Infosys' net profit of $748.21m in the January-March quarter also missed analysts' expectations of $837.18m. Smaller rival HCLTech is due to report results later this week, while Wipro is expected next week. Analysts caution of further demand moderation for Indian IT services given the uncertain environment and unplanned project ramp downs, and rising cost prices.
