Evero, the defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers, had his second interview with the Falcons after spending the 2023 season with the Panthers. Vrabel, the former head coach of the Tennessee Titans, was recently fired after two losing seasons but has had previous success as a coach, including being named coach of the year in 2021. Evero and Vrabel join former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris as candidates who have completed second interviews with the Falcons. Evero has never been a head coach at any level, while Vrabel has experience leading a team. It remains to be seen who the Falcons will ultimately choose as their new head coach, but they seem to be considering a diverse group of candidates.
