Sammi Giancola, also known as "Sammi Sweetheart," is making a surprising return to the new season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, as revealed in a recently released trailer. The former cast member is rejoining her housemates after more than a decade away from the MTV reality franchise. In the trailer, the rest of the cast expresses their surprise at Sammi's arrival, while she gets acquainted with the changes that have taken place in her absence, such as the replacement blow-up doll and a blanket displaying Snooki and JWoww's iconic "note" to her.

Sammi initially stepped away from Jersey Shore in 2012, following the show's original six-season run, in order to focus on her businesses and personal relationships. However, she will now be back with her former castmates, including her ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who is making a return despite not being included in the promo photos.
