The Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) Men's and Women's Cross Country teams are gearing up for the NCAA Division II National Championships in Joplin, Missouri. After winning both the Northeast-10 Conference Championship and the NCAA East Regional Championship, the Owls are looking to continue their success at the national level. Last year, the Women's team finished 8th in the team standings, with Allison Beasley earning All-American honors. The Men's team placed 11th, led by Simon Kelati's All-American performance. Western Colorado's Cross Country teams are also preparing for the championship meet. The Women's team received an automatic bid after a strong showing at the South Central Regional, with Allison Beasley finishing in third place. The Men's team earned an at-large bid and will be led by Tyler Nord. The NCAA Division II Cross Country Championship will take place on Saturday, November 18.
