Antonio Conte's replacement at Tottenham Hotspur, Roberto De Zerbi, is reportedly not giving Tottenham the positive responses they wanted. However, given that they are yet to find the perfect candidate, De Zerbi has the chance to prove himself. Brighton's current manager is one of the options Tottenham is considering, but reports suggest that he can be emotional behind the scenes. That being said, Alasdair Gold believes that De Zerbi's character would be perfect to lead and motivate Spurs.

With a win and a draw in Spurs' last two games, they have lost their place in the Champions League spots, and they need a new coach to take them back to the top. Aside from fitting the mould of what Spurs need in a manager, De Zerbi's style of play is also similar to the ex-Inter Milan boss. Spurs fans will be relieved to hear that De Zerbi boasts one of the most exciting styles of play in the Premier League. With a higher average possession than Spurs this season, De Zerbi's side could offer a better style of play for Spurs fans to enjoy.
