Why did LeBron James Follow Steph Curry to the Bench at the NBA Playoffs?

During the Game One of the Western Conference semifinals between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James left many basketball fans puzzled as he followed Steph Curry to the bench during the second quarter. Curry has clarified the unusual event, emphasizing that James was merely joking around about guarding him always. Although the play ended up going viral on social media, it did not distract Curry who delivered an impressive “triple-double” with 31 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds. Unfortunately, his performance wasn't enough to lead the Warriors to a win, as the Lakers gained a hard-fought 117-112 victory. James also played well, contributing 22 points, while his teammates Anthony Davis and Isaiah Thomas scored 25 and 20 points respectively. Following the game, James reminded the Lakers of the importance of guarding the Warriors' main players like Curry and Klay Thompson. Nonetheless, the previous result guarantees that the Lakers are now leading the best-of-7 semifinal match with the Warriors by 3-1, with the next game scheduled on May 5.
