Washington State Dominates Colorado, Ending Buffaloes' Bowl Hopes

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Washington State Cougars delivered a crushing blow to the Colorado Buffaloes, winning 56-14 and putting an end to Colorado's hopes of making it to a bowl game this season. The victory also snapped a six-game losing streak for Washington State, giving them a glimmer of hope for a postseason appearance.

Washington State quarterback Cameron Ward had a standout performance, throwing for 288 yards and accounting for four touchdowns. He was supported by an impressive defensive effort, with Brennan Jackson returning two fumbles for touchdowns. The Cougars' dominant display on both sides of the ball overwhelmed the Buffaloes, who couldn't recover from their early struggles.

Colorado's quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, was forced to exit the game in the second quarter after taking a hard hit. Sanders had been sacked four times prior to leaving the game and was unable to lead his team to a comeback. Despite a promising start to the season with a 3-0 record, Colorado has now lost seven of their last eight games.

The win keeps Washington State's aspirations of reaching a bowl game alive, but they will have to defeat rival Washington in the upcoming Apple Cup to secure a postseason berth. Meanwhile, Colorado's disappointing season continues as they fall to 4-7 overall and 1-7 in Pac-12 Conference play.
