Additionally, Morgan Wallen's song "You Proof" was named Song of the Year, recognizing its popularity on terrestrial radio, satellite radio, and digital streaming platforms. Wallen shared the Songwriter of the Year honor with Luke Combs, making it an unprecedented moment as Combs performed a stripped-down version of Wallen's "Thought You Should Know" and Wallen played Combs' "Going, Going, Gone."

The BMI Country Awards also celebrated 49 other top-played country songs and recognized 27 first-time winning songwriters. It was a night of honoring the talent and achievements within the country music industry.
