Zelenskyy was responding to former President Donald Trump's previous claims that he could end the war in 24 hours if he were elected to the White House. Zelenskyy argued that Trump already had the opportunity to do so during his time in office, but must have had other priorities. The Ukrainian President emphasized that Ukraine would not agree to ending the war at the cost of giving up their territories. Zelenskyy also addressed the suggestion that the US has given enough aid to Ukraine, stating that Ukrainians are not known for excessive appetites and that their victory is enough for them.
