Sorry Lions fans, there will be no international games for Detroit during the upcoming 2023 season. The team last played overseas in 2015 at London’s Wembley Stadium, a game against the Kansas City Chiefs in which they were defeated 45-10. The possibility of the Lions playing in Germany against the Kansas City Chiefs was squashed as the Chiefs are instead set to play host to the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt this year. As a result, the Lions will travel to Kansas City, the first time in two decades that they will play a regular season game in the city. Detroit Lions fans will have to keep their excitement for the upcoming campaign contained within Ford Field. With an exciting and energizing new coach in Dan Campbell, a passionate fan base and a roster full of talent, the Lions have the potential to be showcased frequently on national television. The upcoming season has brought high anticipation for Lions fans and many are hoping for the NFC North title in 2023.
