Legendary cricketer Kapil Dev has revealed that none of the current Indian cricket players have ever asked him for advice or assistance. Dev, who led India to their first-ever World Cup victory in 1983, expressed his desire to detach himself from the present Indian World Cup team and simply watch them play. He stated that while he could offer guidance, the current players don't need his technical inputs as they are highly intelligent and capable. Dev played 131 Test matches for India, scoring over 5,000 runs and taking 438 wickets. In ODIs, he represented the country in 225 matches, picking up 253 wickets and contributing nearly 3,800 runs. Despite his legendary status, Dev's comments demonstrate the confidence and self-sufficiency of the current Indian cricket team.
