Will Injured Guards Return in Time for the Jets' Monday Night Football Matchup?

Left guard Laken Tomlinson and right guard Joe Tippmann are set to start for the New York Jets in their Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Tomlinson, who had a hamstring issue, and Tippmann, who injured his quad, both participated fully in Saturday's practice and have no injury designation prior to the game. Tippmann may even earn the start at center since Connor McGovern and Wes Schweitzer are on Injured Reserve. Duane Brown, the left tackle, has been ruled out for another game as he continues to recover from a hip problem. Linebacker Chazz Surratt will also miss Monday's game due to an ankle injury. Safety Adrian Amos and receiver Allen Lazard are questionable for the game, as they appeared as limited participants in practice. On the Chargers' side, wide receiver Joshua Palmer has been ruled out, while tight end Gerald Everett and quarterback Justin Herbert are both prepared to play. The Jets will host the Chargers on November 6 at 8:20 pm ET.
