Looking for something to do this weekend in the Capital Region? Here are some events to check out:
- Derek Hough: Symphony of Dance at The Palace Theatre in Albany. The live dance show is the first national tour in four years for the performing dynamo. Tickets start at $39, and the show begins at 7 p.m. at 19 Clinton Ave. in Albany.
- The Boys and Girls Club of Schenectady's annual Fall Fling and Auction at the Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia. Tickets are $150 each, and the event begins at 6 p.m. at 1 Glen Ave.
- Comedian Bob Marley performing at the Funny Bone Comedy Club at Crossgates Mall. Tickets are $39, doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
And in Morris:
- Three French Hens Market at Jennifer's Garden. Shop for unique, local crafts and get a head start on Christmas shopping.
- Morris Veterans Day Observance, including a parade and observance at the Grundy County Courthouse.
- EXibit Fine Arts Center Veterans Art Show, featuring art made by local veterans to celebrate Veterans Day.
- Coal City Veterans Day Observance at Diamond Banquet Hall.
- Quilts of Valor presentation by the Morris Quilt Guild at Saratoga School.
