Will the Atlanta Braves finally get their chance to host the MLB All-Star Game in 2025?

In a recent announcement, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred revealed that Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, will host the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. This will mark the third time that Atlanta has had the honor of hosting the Midsummer Classic, with the previous games occurring in 1972 and 2000 at Atlanta Stadium (later named Fulton County Stadium) and Turner Field, respectively.

The decision to award the 2025 All-Star Game to the Braves comes four years after MLB moved the 2021 All-Star Game festivities from Truist Park to Denver's Coors Field. The move was made in response to a voting bill passed by the Georgia State Legislature, which prompted the league to stand against the legislation.

Commissioner Manfred praised the Braves organization and the Atlanta Sports Council for their efforts in securing the 2025 All-Star Game, stating that Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta will provide fans with a world-class experience.

The All-Star Game brings along several days of events, including the highly anticipated Home Run Derby. Atlanta fans can expect a memorable All-Star Week that will benefit the community and celebrate the Braves' success on and off the field.
