Baltimore Ravens fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of star tight end Mark Andrews, but it seems that he will not be activated from injured reserve for Saturday's divisional-round matchup against the Houston Texans. Andrews has been working hard to recover from an ankle injury he suffered in Week 11, but the Ravens have decided that he is not yet ready to return.

Andrews had been listed as questionable for the game and had been participating in limited practice sessions throughout the week. However, the Ravens made it official by activating receiver Devin Duvernay and defensive back Ar'Darius Washington off of injured reserve, filling the open roster spots.

In Andrews' absence, backup tight end Isaiah Likely has stepped up, catching 21 passes for 322 yards and five touchdowns in the six games following Andrews' injury.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh had previously described Andrews' status as "still up in the air," but it appears that the team has erred on the side of caution and will hold off on his return. If the Ravens win this weekend, there is a possibility that Andrews could play in the AFC Championship game.

As for the Texans, their injury report is relatively clean. Defensive ends Jonathan Greenard and Will Anderson Jr., who both missed practice on Wednesday due to ankle injuries, returned as full participants on Thursday and are expected to play. Defensive end Jerry Hughes is the only defender ruled out for the game due to an ankle injury.

Even without Andrews, the Ravens are favored to win the game, with several experts predicting a victory for Baltimore.
