Link Academy guard, Jasper Johnson, a top recruit in the 2025 class, is drawing high praise and considering a potential visit to UNC. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard has expressed his fandom for the Tar Heels and received an offer from Coach Hubert Davis in September. Despite not having visited the campus yet, Johnson has expressed interest in a potential visit to Chapel Hill.

In addition to UNC, Johnson is also considering Alabama, Baylor, Kansas, Kentucky, and Southern Cal for official visits. Although known for his long-distance shooting, Johnson is constantly expanding his skillset and has shown the ability to create for himself and finish strong at the rim.

Johnson, who hails from Lexington, Kentucky, has already taken unofficial visits to Kentucky and official visits to West Virginia, Georgia Tech, and Missouri. UNC is still awaiting its first commitment for the 2025 class.

Other five-star recruits on UNC's radar for 2025 include Cayden Boozer, Isiah Harwell, Darryn Peterson, Cameron Boozer, Caleb Wilson, Koa Peat, Bryson Tiller, and AJ Dybantsa.

It remains to be seen if Johnson will choose to join the Tar Heels, but his potential visit to UNC is generating excitement among fans and coaches alike.
