Roman Reigns Retains Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Royal Rumble 2024

In a fierce Fatal 4-Way match, Roman Reigns emerged victorious and successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble 2024. The match also featured Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight, making it Reigns' toughest test yet as champion.

Orton initially seemed poised to win the match after executing an RKO on all three opponents and pinning Reigns to a near fall. However, Solo Sikoa, a member of Reigns' faction The Bloodline, interfered and pulled the referee out of the ring. This allowed Reigns to recover and ultimately secure the win by delivering a Spear to AJ Styles.

Leading up to the Royal Rumble, Orton's decision to join SmackDown over Raw was motivated by his desire to confront Reigns and The Bloodline, who had previously attacked him and put him through an announce table. LA Knight also had personal issues with Reigns that he wanted to settle in the match.

Reigns' championship reign has now surpassed 1,200 consecutive days, cementing his dominance in the WWE. His next title defense will be against Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble on January 27th.

The Royal Rumble 2024 event also featured other exciting matches, such as Logan Paul defending the United States Championship against Kevin Owens and 30-wrestler battle royals for men and women, where the winners would earn a ticket to a World Championship match at WrestleMania.
