Rapper and Lakers fan, Snoop Dogg, caused a stir during his appearance on First Take when he called Stephen Curry the greatest point guard of all time. Despite being a close friend of Lakers legend Magic Johnson, Snoop argued that Curry's impact on the game by making the three-point shot the first option is undeniable, thus making him the greatest. While this might come as a blow to Johnson, who is widely considered one of, if not, the greatest point guard ever, the conversation about Curry's legacy has reached a fever pitch. After his impressive 50-point game during the first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs, many have called for him to win his first Finals MVP award, which is arguably the lone honor missing from his resume. With the Warriors facing their historical rivals, the Lakers, in the second round, all eyes will be on Curry and his performance.
