Prime Minister Leo Varadkar of Ireland has spoken out against the anti-immigrant protesters who caused chaos in Dublin following a knife attack that left three young children injured. Varadkar condemned the rioters, saying they were motivated by hate and a love for violence and chaos, rather than a desire to protect Irish society. He emphasized that their actions were not patriotic but instead aimed at causing pain to others. The violence erupted after rumors spread that a foreign national was responsible for the attack outside a Dublin school. The prime minister stressed that the attacks were not only on innocent children but also on the rule of law and Irish society as a whole. In response to the riots, police made additional arrests and implemented increased security measures to prevent further disorder. The injured children, a 5-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl, are receiving medical treatment, and the alleged assailant remains hospitalized.
