Former Minnesota Timberwolves point guard, Jeff Teague, recently shared his account of the infamous Jimmy Butler practice debacle from his perspective on the "Club 520 Podcast". Teague noted that Butler got to the training camp three days late and initially refused to participate in any drills. However, when an intersquad scrimmage was called, Butler declared himself ready and demanded to play on the third team with players who had no chance of making the roster. Teague revealed that after leading his team to victory over the starters, Butler went on a post-scrimmage rant, yelling at his former teammates that they couldn't win without him. But that's not all, Teague's use of words has led NBA Twitter to speculate about the relationship between Butler and former ESPN reporter Rachel Nichols. Teague said that after the scrimmage, Butler went home directly and when he turned on ESPN, he saw Nichols' interview which caused fans to hypothesize that she was already waiting for him at home. However, these are just rumors and have not been confirmed by credible sources. Meanwhile, Butler's current outstanding performance in the playoffs has brought back another theory that he is Michael Jordan's long-lost son.
